Union Oyster House


Perhaps the most famous fish restaurant in the historic heart of Boston. The building was built over 250 years ago and is protected as a monument of culture and history of the United States. It is in the Union Oyster House first appeared toothpicks: Charles Forster, a restaurant owner, for the promotion of this invention hired Harvard students who, after dinner, the waiter asked for a toothpick.
