Cheap Charlie's Bar-Phuket

Cheap Charlie's Bar stands as a beloved institution in Bangkok's vibrant nightlife scene, renowned for its affordable drinks, eclectic decor, and welcoming atmosphere. Established over three decades ago, this iconic bar has become a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists seeking an authentic and budget-friendly experience in the heart of the city.

A Storied History

Originally located on Sukhumvit Soi 11, Cheap Charlie's Bar quickly gained popularity for its unique charm and unbeatable prices. For 35 years, it served as a gathering spot for a diverse crowd, including expatriates, travelers, and Bangkok residents. In 2017, due to redevelopment plans in the area, the bar bid farewell to its original location. However, its spirit remained unshaken, and by the end of that year, Cheap Charlie's found a new home on Sukhumvit Soi 50, near the On Nut BTS station. This relocation allowed the bar to continue its legacy, attracting both longtime patrons and newcomers eager to experience its distinctive ambiance.
